How does an insurance repair job work?
When we undertake insurance to repair or reinstatement work for our customers and clients, this is what you should expect:
- We receive the initial instruction from the client, whether it’s a homeowner, insurance company, or loss adjuster.
- A surveyor will then attend to the property as part of the process of validating the insurance claim. We will also take extensive photos.
- We will then price the job and produce a final quote.
- We ask that the client signs off the work at the end (known as a completion note prior to the final invoice.)
